Project Controls Manager
A Project Controls Manager is needed for a leading global engineering, consulting and construction company in the Atlanta, GA area. This position requires at least ten to twelve years of experience in cost control and scheduling to lead a project team for a large-scale power generation facility, focusing on risk management, project health visibility, and technical leadership within an EPC environment. location: Cartersville, Georgia

salary: $65.00 - 76.92 per hour

Project Controls Management:
- Lead and develop the Project Controls team on high-risk, complex projects.
- Serve as an integral member of the project management leadership team.
- Lead project risk and change management initiatives.
- Identify process improvements and drive department-wide initiatives.
- Support global collaboration efforts.
- Ensure the implementation of standard Project Controls procedures and tools.
- Maintain transparent visibility of project health for the business.
- Escalate project issues to leadership and provide effective resolutions.
- Support the administration of project reviews and ensure the resolution of resulting actions.
- Monitor staff performance and provide timely feedback.
- Facilitate development opportunities, coaching, and succession planning for the team.
- A four-year Bachelor's degree with 10 or more years of relevant Cost Control or Planning and Scheduling experience.
- Alternatively, 12 or more years of relevant experience in a Home Office or Field Office if no degree is held.
- Prior field experience is preferred.
- Experience in a leadership role for a medium- to large-sized EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) project is preferred.

- Ability to develop advanced concepts as a technical specialist.
- Proficiency in Project Controls software and reporting tools.
- Master's degree in Engineering or Construction Management.
- Certification from PMI (Project Management Institute) or AACE (Association for the Advancement of Cost Engineering).
- Ability to positively influence internal and external clients.
