We are seeking a Certified Lead Pre-K Teacher to join our organization! This individual will plan and present age-appropriate activities for children.

Responsibilities:

• Instruct preschool-aged children in activities designed to promote intellectual and creative growth
• Create a fun and safe learning environment
• Must follow and implement lesson plans, perform monthly assessments on the children, enter WSO information weekly, and attend mandatory training (in-person & online)
• Follow schedules and routines to ensure adequate instructional time, physical activity, rest, and playtime
• Establish and maintain positive relationships with the assistant teacher, students, and parents
• Communicate with parents on students' growth and progress
• Maintain the health and safety of all students by following all DECAL Childcare Licensing, Quality Rated, and GA-Pre K rules and regulations

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• BS/BA in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, or a related field is required.
• You must attend Georgia Bright From the Start training and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must have excellent communication skills with colleagues and parents.
• Previous experience in childcare, teaching, or other related fields
• Passionate about working with children
• Ability to build rapport with children
• Positive and patient demeanor
