Travel Registered Nurse GI Lab Job

TLC Healthforce
Lawrenceville, GA
Embark on a transformative Travel Registered Nurse journey as a GI Lab specialist, anchored in the welcoming community of Lawrenceville, Georgia, with the chance to impact patient outcomes while exploring new corners of the country. This role places you at the forefront of GI procedures—from pre-op assessments and patient education to assisting gastroenterologists during complex endoscopic interventions and smooth post-procedure recovery. On 03/09/2026, you could begin a contract designed for Weeks of dynamic, skill-building experiences, with guaranteed hours and a competitive weekly pay range that reflects your expertise and commitment.

Separately, Georgia invites you to savor its diverse landscapes. From the shaded trails of the foothills to vibrant urban scenes around Atlanta, the state offers a blend of outdoor adventure and cultural richness. In your downtime, you’ll discover friendly communities, thriving dining scenes, and easy access to mountain escapes or coastal weekend trips. The beauty of Georgia extends beyond its cities, offering a backdrop that complements the urgent pace of travel nursing with moments of renewal and inspiration.

Location Benefits: Lawrenceville sits just northeast of Atlanta, blending small-town warmth with accessibility to big-city opportunities. You’ll benefit from a robust healthcare network, excellent schools, and plenty of family-friendly amenities, including parks, festivals, and a thriving arts scene. As a travel RN, you also have the option to work in additional U.S. locations through the assignment program, broadening your professional horizons while maintaining the security of the support system you’ve built. The travel model provides exposure to a spectrum of GI suites—academic centers, community hospitals, and private clinics—allowing you to refine technique, adapt to varied equipment, and collaborate with diverse care teams. It’s a chance to grow your professional portfolio while enjoying the unique experiences each location offers, from southern hospitality and culinary delights to modern transit access and cultural events that showcase the region’s warmth and charm.

Role Specifics and Benefits: In this GI Lab RN role, you’ll lead patient-centered care across the procedural continuum. Key responsibilities include assessing GI patients pre-procedure, confirming consents, preparing and sterilely setting up endoscopy suites, assisting during endoscopic procedures, monitoring sedation and vitals, promptly addressing any intra-procedure concerns, and supporting efficient turnover for high-volume blocks. Post-procedure care, patient education on recovery and discharge instructions, and meticulous documentation in electronic medical records complete the cycle. You’ll collaborate with gastroenterologists, anesthesiologists, technicians, and unit staff to ensure procedures run safely and smoothly, while continuously refining your technique, staying current with best practices, and pursuing specialty certifications. The position emphasizes growth within GI lab subspecialties—bleeding control, stent placement support, complex polypectomy preparation, and device-assisted navigation—opening pathways to leadership roles or cross-training opportunities in related units.

Benefits include a competitive compensation package: weekly pay between $1,617 and $1,646, with guaranteed 36 hours per week. You may also qualify for a sign-on or completion bonus, plus housing assistance designed to mitigate travel costs and enable you to focus on patient care. The assignment includes extension opportunities, so strong performance can lead to longer engagements and greater routine exposure in your GI subspecialty. Comprehensive support is available around the clock, with 24/7 assistance from our dedicated travel support team, helping you navigate housing, scheduling, credentialing, and any urgent needs that arise while you’re on the road. You’ll receive access to state-of-the-art resources, ongoing clinical mentorship, and dedicated colleagues who champion your confidence and clinical judgment as you advance in the field.

Company Values: Our partner organizations are grounded in empowering staff to grow into senior roles while maintaining a supportive, collaborative work environment. The focus is on professional development, ethical patient care, and clear pathways for advancement within GI services. You’ll join a culture that celebrates initiative, values open communication, and invests in ongoing education, ensuring you’re prepared not only for today’s procedures but for tomorrow’s innovations in gastroenterology. In this setting, your voice matters, your expertise is respected, and your career trajectory is something we actively shape together with you.

Call to Action: If you’re a dedicated GI Lab RN ready to elevate your practice, apply now to join a company that recognizes your contributions and invests in your growth. Bring your clinical judgment, your collaborative spirit, and your commitment to patient safety to a role that blends technical mastery with compassionate care. This is more than a travel assignment—it’s an opportunity to build a meaningful career while exploring new places, expanding your network, and delivering exceptional GI care. Start dates are flexible within the contract window, but the 03/09/2026 start is highlighted for planning, with weeks-long contracts designed to expand into ongoing opportunities.

Please note: The hours and pay rates listed are estimates and may vary. Final compensation packages and guaranteed hours will be confirmed during the hiring process.
