Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Manager to oversee and manage maintenance operations across all shifts in a 24-hour plant. This role is pivotal in developing and implementing effective Preventive Maintenance (PM) programs, maintaining and improving safety standards, and managing the maintenance of compounding systems, boilers, and automated equipment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement Preventive Maintenance (PM) programs to ensure compliance and effectiveness.
• Maintain and improve safety standards, championing safety initiatives within a chemical environment.
• Oversee maintenance of compounding systems, boilers, and automated equipment.
• Manage budgets, cost control measures, and contractor outsourcing.
• Utilize CMMS systems for scheduling and tracking maintenance activities.
• Collaborate with the Director of Operations, Materials Management, and Engineering teams to align maintenance strategies with business goals.
• Drive team development, accountability, and performance improvement.

Essential Skills

• Hands-on maintenance experience with promotion from technician to leadership roles.
• Current or recent Maintenance Leadership experience.
• Chemical manufacturing experience (highly preferred).
• PM program development and management.
• Familiarity with regulated environments (CGMP, FDA practices).
• Expertise in boilers, compounding, and automated equipment.
• Strong ability to lead large teams and foster accountability.
• Commitment to developing team members.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in Bottling/Packaging or Food Manufacturing industries.
• Budgeting and cost control proficiency.
• CMMS proficiency.
• Effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Work Environment

The work environment includes a chemical manufacturing setting with a requirement for on-site presence. The interview process involves a phone screen and an on-site tour/interview, where steel-toed shoes are required.

This is a Permanent position based out of Cartersville, GA.

The pay range for this position is $115000.00 - $125000.00/yr.
