Product Manager, TRS

At Anduril's Tactical Recon and Strike (TRS) team, we're pushing the boundaries of aerial drone technology. We're the driving force behind groundbreaking products like Ghost , Anvil, Bolt , and Altius , taking them from concept to fully operational systems that are reshaping the landscape of defense and security. Our team tackles the entire spectrum of small drone development (Group 1-3), from the drones themselves to the critical equipment needed for testing, deployment, and operation. ABOUT THE JOB
In this role, you will manage products from inception, through development, testing, and rollout to the market. You will continue managing the products and customers to ensure a world-class experience. You will own the customer relationship and have input to the strategic direction of TRS products.
We are looking for motivated, collaborative, and insightful individuals to work with our design engineering teams to develop new products and evolve existing products. Our development timelines are aggressive and you will be asked to rigorously explore solutions for previously unsolved problems. Ideal candidates for our team have passion for making things work, are highly detail-oriented self-starters, and are hungry to do work that matters.
- Define products including hardware, software, network capabilities, and deployment requirements to support defense customers
- Collaborate with hardware, software, and network engineers to create or improve products
- Support all phases of development from market analysis, concept, initial proposal development through successful test, demonstration, and operations
- Support Growth teams with go to market strategy, support during the sales cycle by acting at the technical subject matter expert and assisting with proposal reviews
- Drive overall commercial success of each product
- Ensure comprehensive family of systems approach to customer applications
- Help define, measure, and manage customer success metrics
- Manage customer partnerships and ensure that contract deliverables are delivered on time and per the customers’ expectation
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 2-5 years of professional experience
- Combination of technical/engineering background with business experience
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 2+ years of technical product management experience
- Ability to support customer requirements and incorporate business development experience into solutions
- Ability to perform market analysis supporting concept product development
- Managing product life cycle development
- Involvement in new product introduction
- Candidates with experience in at least one of the following areas are preferred.
- Experience within Unmanned or Missile Systems for Defense
- Experience within the Aviation, Maritime, Government, or Disaster response industries
- Experience within the Tech industry
- Knowledge of communication technologies and networking
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, autonomously driven, and demanding start-up atmosphere
- Project management experience including implementing a statement of work for defense customers
US Salary Range
$91,800 - $137,700 USD
The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations. Highly competitive equity grants are included in the majority of full time offers; and are considered part of Anduril's total compensation package.
