We’re seeking a contract Mobile Application Developer to design, build, and maintain secure, high-performance mobile apps and related web services for a Federal client. You’ll use Flutter/Dart for cross-platform mobile, Angular for web UI, and ASP.NET Core Web API with Dependency Injection and Entity Framework Core for backend services.
Key Responsibilities
Build and ship cross-platform Flutter/Dart mobile applications with robust state management, offline sync, and accessibility best practices.
Develop modular, responsive Angular components and pages; integrate with design systems and REST APIs.
Design and implement ASP.NET Core Web APIs using DI and Entity Framework Core; write maintainable data models, migrations, and queries.
Apply secure coding practices aligned to Security+ principles and OWASP guidance; implement authentication/authorization and input validation.
Automate builds, testing, and deployments (CI/CD); monitor performance and reliability; troubleshoot across the stack.
Collaborate with product, UX, security, and DevOps; participate in Agile ceremonies, code reviews, and release planning.
Create clear technical documentation and contribute to engineering standards.
Must-Have Qualifications
Flutter with Dart
Angular (TypeScript) for front-end development.
.NET (ASP.NET Core Web API) with Dependency Injection and Entity Framework Core.
CompTIA Security+ (CE) certification or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire, and eligibility to obtain/maintain a secret clearance. This role requires the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance (which typically requires U.S. citizenship)
Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs; JSON/ fundamentals.
Proficiency with Git-based workflows, code reviews, unit/integration testing, and Agile delivery.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Nice-to-Have (Preferred)
Microsoft SQL Server experience and proficiency with SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS) for administration, profiling, and query tuning.
Experience with application telemetry/monitoring, performance optimization, and incident response.
