As a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) at The Anderson Centers, you will play a vital role in designing, implementing, and overseeing individualized Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) treatment plans. You’ll work directly with patients, families, and a team of clinicians to ensure high-quality, ethical care that promotes meaningful progress!
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Design, implement, and adjust Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) as needed
- Create programming that promotes skill maintenance and generalization
- Develop discharge plans for patients who have met their goals
- Monitor patient data and provide guidance to behavior technicians
- Ensure therapy schedules are consistent and effective
- Provide direct and documented supervision to RBTs/clinicians
- Support crisis intervention and provide clear direction during escalated situations
- Deliver constructive feedback to staff, both written and verbal
- Ensure accurate use of data tracking software and session note documentation
- Complete clinician performance reviews and support professional development
- Guide families through the insurance authorization process
- Communicate patient progress with caregivers and attend support sessions
- Maintain audit-ready documentation and records
- Collaborate with billing, clinical, and school-based teams as needed
- Participate in interdisciplinary meetings, team trainings, and professional development
- Drive to off-site locations for patient sessions or meetings, if necessary
- Maintain all required licenses and certifications
What We’re Looking For
- Current BCBA certification and state licensure (or eligibility)
- Experience developing ABA programs and supervising clinical teams
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to manage crisis situations professionally and calmly
- Familiarity with data collection systems and EMR tools
- Commitment to ethical and evidence-based ABA practices
Qualifications:
- Current BCBA certification through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB)
- Active Georgia state license (LBA) or eligibility to obtain licensure in accordance with Georgia state regulations
- Master’s degree or higher in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or a related field from an accredited institution
- Completion of all BACB-required supervised fieldwork hours (1,500–2,000 hours depending on supervision model)
- Demonstrated knowledge of ABA principles, data collection methods, and behavior intervention strategies
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to pass a state and federal background check
- Must maintain all required certifications and licenses throughout employment
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (if position requires travel to home or school-based settings)

- Experience independently developing and overseeing comprehensive ABA treatment for children with autism;
- Experience conducting a variety of ABA modalities such as caregiver support sessions, group ABA treatment, and specialized treatments;
- Minimum of 2 years of experience providing direct ABA therapy to children diagnosed with ASD; and/or
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a BCBA providing treatment to children diagnosed with ASD and supervising clinicians
