Electrical Electrician Manager

Avant Tech is currently seeking an experienced Electrical Electrician Manager to oversee and lead our electrical department. In this pivotal role, you will manage electrical projects, supervise electricians, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical systems, project management, and leadership, along with a commitment to delivering exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all electrical installation and maintenance projects from conception to completion.
• Manage a team of electricians, providing guidance, training, and support.
• Ensure compliance with national and local electrical codes and regulations.
• Conduct regular inspections of electrical systems and equipment for safety and reliability.
• Develop project plans, budgets, and schedules; ensure completion within designated timeframes.
• Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to coordinate project activities and resolve issues.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and prepare progress reports for management.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in Electrical Engineering or related field is preferred.
• Certified Electrician with at least 5 years of experience in electrical work.
• Must have an Unrestricted Electrical License
• Proven experience in a managerial or supervisory role within the electrical industry.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and regulations.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Valid Driver's License - The role will require driving to client locations in a company-issued vehicle.
• Must be able to pass a background check, drug screening, and have a clean driving record.
• Physical Requirements:
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs.

• Ability to climb a ladder and work in crawlspaces.
