We are seeking a Scrum Master for our global pharmaceutical client. The Scrum Master for Digital Projects will be responsible for facilitating and guiding the Agile development process for our initiatives. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, machine learning engineers, software developers, and product owners, to ensure the successful delivery of Digital projects. The Scrum Master will help the team adhere to Agile principles, remove impediments, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
This is a 40-hour per-week, 12-month contract (extensions possible), 50% onsite at the client's office in Lawrenceville, NJ. Hours: Monday- Friday 8am-5pm
This is a W2 role as a Stage 4 Solutions employee. Health benefits and a 401K are offered.
Responsibilities:

Facilitate Agile Processes:

Scrum Ceremonies: Organize and facilitate all Scrum ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.

Sprint Planning: Assist the team in defining sprint goals, planning tasks, and estimating effort for each sprint.

Backlog Management: Work with the Product Owner to ensure the product backlog is well-groomed, prioritized, and ready for upcoming sprints.

Team Support and Coaching:

Agile Coaching: Coach team members on Agile principles and practices, helping them to understand and adopt Scrum methodologies.

Project Coordination:

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, machine learning engineers, software developers, and other stakeholders, to ensure alignment and integration of projects.

Stakeholder Communication: Maintain clear and effective communication with stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, risks, and issues.

Continuous Improvement:

Retrospectives: Facilitate sprint retrospectives to identify areas for improvement and implement actionable plans to enhance team performance.

Process Optimization: Continuously assess and improve Agile processes and practices to increase efficiency and effectiveness.

Performance Tracking and Reporting:

Metrics and KPIs: Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure team performance and project progress.

Progress Reporting: Prepare and present regular progress reports to stakeholders and senior management.

Risk Management

Risk Identification: Identify potential risks and issues that may impact project delivery and develop mitigation strategies.

Issue Resolution: Proactively address and resolve any issues that arise during the project lifecycle.
Requirements:

Experience: 5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master, with a proven track record of successfully delivering software development projects in Product environment.

Pharma GxP software development experience preferred

SDLC must have software development project experience

Agile Expertise: Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban) and best practices.

Leadership and Communication: Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to effectively manage teams and engage stakeholders.

Analytical and Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify issues, assess risks, and develop solutions.

Facilitation Skills: Ability to facilitate all Scrum Events, Project meetings, discussions, and decision-making processes effectively.

Experience with JIRA, and PPM software.

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

Master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Scrum Master (CSM), PMI-ACP), preferred
