This travel opportunity places you as a Surgical Technologist working in a hospital OR environment. The assignment focuses on supporting the surgical team through planned and emergent operations with emphasis on sterile technique, instrument handling, and patient safety. The role requires flexibility for on-call coverage including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities
- Prepare sterile fields, arrange and pass instruments, and assist the surgical team during procedures.
- Maintain instrument counts, specimen handling, and orderly tray setup to ensure patient safety.
- Draping and gowning patients, assisting anesthesia providers, and maintaining intraoperative safety standards.
- Assist with operating room turnover, equipment readiness, and inventory management while supporting a wide range of surgical cases.
- Adhere to sterile technique, infection control protocols, and facility policies; assist in Level 1 Trauma and burn cases as assigned.
- Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and other OR staff to optimize workflow and patient outcomes.

Requirements
- Travel assignment experience required; ability to complete a 13-week engagement.
- Experience with Level 1 Trauma cases; high proficiency in skills and instrument handling.
- Burn experience preferred.
- Availability for a day shift schedule on 6:45 am–7:15 pm with on-call, including weekends and holidays.
- Education: completion of an accredited surgical technology program.
- Certifications/Licenses: CST certification or eligibility is preferred; follow state requirements as applicable.
- Ability to work effectively in a hospital OR setting and to adapt to variable case mix.
