Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced TMS Functional Consultant with strong expertise across Transportation Management Systems (TMS) platforms. This role will lead functional design, configuration, testing, and deployment of transportation solutions that improve cost efficiency, service levels, and operational performance .

While experience with platforms like Manhattan TMS is valuable, we are open to candidates with deep functional expertise across any leading TMS solutions . The ideal candidate will bring strong domain knowledge in transportation operations and a proven track record of delivering successful TMS implementations.

What You’ll Do

• Lead requirement gathering and functional design workshops
• Configure TMS modules like routing, load planning, carrier selection, and freight settlement
• Drive SIT, UAT, and end-to-end testing activities
• Work on EDI/API integrations (204, 990, 214, 210, etc.)
• Support data migration, validation, and system integrations (WMS, ERP, OMS)
• Participate in go-live, hypercare, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions

What We’re Looking For

• 7+ years of experience in TMS implementations or support
• Strong understanding of transportation planning, routing, and optimization
• Experience with EDI/API integrations in logistics systems
• Hands-on involvement in SIT/UAT cycles
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Good to Have

• Experience with multiple TMS platforms
• Exposure to WMS/ERP integrations
• Background in logistics or supply chain operations
