If so, Scenthound is looking for a passionate Assistant Store Manager to help oversee operations at our East Cobb and surrounding locations while supporting the General Manager across all three Cobb locations. As the Assistant Store Manager , youll be the right hand to the General Manager, stepping up to lead the store whenever they are assisting at another location. Your primary focus will be driving sales, managing daily operations, and leading a high-energy team to provide top-tier customer service. Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Membership Growth: Drive revenue by educating pet parents on our monthly wellness services, upselling memberships, and ensuring every customer leaves with a plan for ongoing care.
Team Leadership & Development: Support hiring, training, and coaching team members to create a high-performance culture that prioritizes efficiency, teamwork, and customer satisfaction.
Operational Excellence: Keep the store running smoothlymanage schedules, track key performance metrics, and oversee inventory to ensure all operations meet company standards.
Customer Experience: Serve as the face of Scenthound! Handle escalated customer concerns, ensure satisfaction, and create a welcoming atmosphere for dogs and their humans.
Hands-On Support: Be ready to jump in where needed whether assisting with dog handling, workflow management, or maintaining a clean and safe environment.
Safety & Compliance: Enforce Scenthounds safety, sanitation, and operational policies to maintain a safe and healthy workplace. What Were Looking For:
Leadership Experience: Prior experience in management, retail, hospitality, or a customer-facing role with a focus on sales and team leadership.
Sales & Customer Service: A proven track record of hitting sales goals and delivering exceptional customer experiences.
Strong Communication & Problem-Solving: Youre proactive, organized, and thrive in an environment where you can make quick decisions.
Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using POS systems, scheduling software, and business management tools.
Passion for Pets: You love dogs and understand the value of pet wellness! Requirements:
- Minimum 1-2 years of leadership or management experience in a retail, sales, or service environment.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Reliable transportation and availability to work flexible hours, including weekends.
