Quality Control Specialist (Bilingual-Korean/English)

Be a part of our rapidly expanding team by joining GLOVIS EV Logistics America LLC as a Bi-lingual Quality Control Specialist. We are seeking skilled individuals with strong attention to detail and a proactive attitude in approaching their duties. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the continuous improvement of automotive parts quality through daily quality control operations.

Department: Quality Control (QC)/Operations

Reports to: Quality Control Manager

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 1st Shift (Expected from 6:00AM-3:00PM, 7:00AM-4:00PM, or 8:00AM-5:00PM) (Occasional weekends and overtime may be required as needed) (Schedule is subject to change based on production requirements)

Location: Onsite, Ellabell, GA 31308 (Must have the ability to commute within the neighboring facilities for meetings, events, etc.)

Key Responsibilities for a Bi-lingual Quality Control Specialist:

• Investigate and resolve quality issues related to KD automotive parts.
• Prepare and manage Parts Problem Reports (PPR) and track issue resolution status.
• Communicate with Glovis HQ and Korean suppliers regarding quality concerns via phone and email.
• Determine part accountability and prepare Discrepancy Reports (DR).
• Attend and contribute to regular meetings with customer quality teams.
• Generate regular quality reports for submission to upper management (weekly ~ annually).
• Support and maintain control of BLOCK parts and EO (Engineering Order) change items.
• Drive process and continuous improvement projects to promote operational efficiency.
• Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications for Bi-Lingual Quality Control Specialist:

• Bachelor's Degree in a Quality Control related field such as Engineering, Supply Chain, etc.
• Business-level fluency in verbal and written communications in both Korean and English.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the ability to create, manipulate, maintain, and interpret data by use of pivot tables, vlookup, etc.
• Ability to understand and operate ERP, WMS or similar warehouse management systems.
• Prior experience with vendor or customer management and relations.
• Strong interpersonal, problem-solving, and reporting skills.
• Detail-oriented with excellent time management capabilities.

This role routinely uses standard office equipment, including a laptop computer and cell phone. The employee is generally required to spend long periods of time sitting, typing, and working at a computer. May require the ability to occasionally lift up to 30 pounds and transport items. The estimated base salary range for the Quality Control Specialist is $60,000-$65,000. The salary range information provided is in accordance with applicable state and local laws regarding salary transparency that are currently in effect and may be implemented in the future. The range represents a good faith estimate of the range that GLOVIS EA reasonably expects to pay for this job at the time of the job posting. The actual salary paid to an individual will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to specific skills or certifications, years of experience, market changes, and required travel.
