The Opportunity
We are seeking a Physician Assistant (PA) to join our interventional pain management team. This role offers hands-on patient care in a fast-paced outpatient setting with strong physician collaboration and training support. You will practice at the top of your license while developing advanced skills in pain management and procedural care.

What You’ll Do
Clinical Care & Patient Management

• Perform comprehensive patient evaluations, including history taking, physical exams, and documentation
• Order, review, and interpret diagnostic studies (X-rays, MRI/CT, ECGs, lab work)
• Develop and manage individualized treatment plans and follow-up care
• Prescribe medications in accordance with Georgia regulations and clinic protocols
• Provide patient education on treatment plans, preventive care, and wellness topics
• Maintain accurate outpatient medical records and reports

Procedures & Interventions

• Perform therapeutic procedures such as joint injections, trigger point injections, immunizations, suturing, wound care, and infection management
• Assist physicians with interventional and emergency procedures

Collaboration & Clinical Judgment

• Exercise sound clinical judgment and consult with supervising physicians as needed
• Work closely with physicians and multidisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated, high-quality care

Qualifications

• Graduate of an ARC-PA–accredited Physician Assistant program
• Current Georgia PA license (or ability to obtain)
• NCCPA certification
• DEA license (active and unrestricted)
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
• Comfortable with medication management and prescribing
• Pain management experience preferred but not required (training provided)
• Willingness to learn interventional procedures and imaging interpretation
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office or similar EMR systems
• Ability to travel between Gainesville and Jasper clinics
