For our quick service restaurant, we are looking to add a welcoming and professional cashier to the team. As the customer's first point of contact, you will greet and serve customers as they enter the restaurant, respond to inquiries, and take orders for food and drinks. This is a busy, high-volume food service environment, and we need someone who can provide exceptional customer service. Additional duties include the cleanup of public areas, order packaging, and register tally at the end of the shift. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, as well as a willingness to be adaptable and take on a variety of tasks, are required of the ideal candidate. $12 - $17 hourly

• Check the amount of money in the cash drawer at the start and close of each shift
• Organize and clean the dining, service, and kitchen areas
• Welcome customers and help answer question about menu items and ordering
• Tell customers their order total, accept payments, and return any required change
• Make sure that all orders are quickly delivered to the customers

• Fundamental math skills are necessary to successfully take payments and return proper change to customers
• Basic computer skills or experience using a POS system and cash register skills are desired
• Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
• Experience handling money and payments in a cashier role preferred
• Should enjoy working with people and display strong customer service skills
