Position Overview

Excellence Property Care Solutions Inc. is urgently seeking an experienced and dependable General Handyman / HVAC Technician to join our growing team as a 1099 Independent Contractor in the Pooler, GA (31322) area.

This opportunity is ideal for a motivated professional who enjoys working independently, managing diverse projects, and applying expertise across multiple trades including HVAC systems . Contractors can expect a flexible schedule, consistent work, and strong earning potential of $2,000 to $3,000 per week , depending on project volume and complexity.

We are looking for individuals who can reliably service locations within a 50-mile radius of Pooler, GA , ensuring timely and efficient support for our clients throughout the region.

Candidates holding a valid General Contractor License or HVAC certification/license will receive priority consideration.

Key Responsibilities

General Maintenance and Repairs

Perform a wide range of tasks, including but not limited to plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, drywall, painting, HVAC maintenance, HVAC troubleshooting, HVAC installation support, and general repairs.

HVAC Service and Maintenance

Diagnose, repair, maintain, and install heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems , including condensers, air handlers, thermostats, refrigerant lines, and ventilation components.

Troubleshooting & Problem Solving

Accurately diagnose issues and implement effective solutions, from routine maintenance to complex repair challenges, including HVAC system diagnostics and performance issues .

Timely Work Order Completion

Complete assigned work orders efficiently while meeting deadlines and maintaining high-quality standards.

Quality & Professionalism

Deliver consistent, detail-oriented workmanship that reflects company standards and client expectations.

Safety Compliance

Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site, including proper HVAC handling procedures and refrigerant safety guidelines .

Client Communication

Interact with clients professionally and courteously to ensure a positive service experience and customer satisfaction.

Tools & Transportation

Provide your own complete set of tools, including HVAC service tools , and maintain reliable transportation to travel to job sites within the service area.

Insurance Requirement

Carry general liability insurance (assistance available if needed).

Qualifications and Requirements

• Proven experience as a General Handyman, HVAC Technician, or in a related trade

• Strong skills in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, painting, and HVAC systems

• Experience with HVAC diagnostics, repairs, installation, and maintenance

• Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and customer-service abilities

• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle (must service a 50-mile radius from Pooler, GA )

• Ownership of professional-grade tools for both general maintenance and HVAC work

• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

• General Contractor License and/or HVAC certification preferred and prioritized
