JOB TITLE: Avionics Installer I

LOCATION: Savannah, GA

PAY RATE: $25.65/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Qualifying Questions:

Summary:

• Assist with installation, modification, and fabrication of wiring, electrical components, fixtures, and equipment per blueprints, worksheets, and engineering drawings

• Complete tasks within allotted timeframes

• Maintain required logs and records

• Comply with FOD program, tool control program, 5S program, and all safety regulations

• Maintain shop equipment and tools as assigned

• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED required

• 6 months of accredited schooling in aviation electronics or general electrical experience preferred

• Technical certificate in aircraft electrical assembly or completion of a youth apprenticeship program preferred

• General knowledge of regulatory requirements and customer specifications

• Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints and schematic diagrams

• Must know how to use a multimeter

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Basic computer and software skills

• Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
