Responsibilities
- Provide perioperative nursing care before, during, and after surgical procedures in the operating room.
- Prepare the operating environment, maintain sterile technique, and confirm patient identity, procedure, and site prior to incision.
- Assist surgeons and anesthesia team, monitor patient status intraoperatively, and respond to changes in patient condition.
- Support postoperative recovery, including monitoring, pain management, and patient/family education.
- Ensure equipment readiness, perform instrument and sponge counts, manage supplies, and document perioperative care and events.

Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in Georgia.
- Perioperative (OR) nursing experience preferred.
- Ability to work in a hospital operating room environment and maintain composure in a fast-paced setting.
- Nursing degree (RN) from an accredited program.
- Ability to meet credentialing and onboarding requirements for a temporary travel assignment.
