**What You'll Do:**
+ Monitor and control access to restricted areas within the chemical or petrochemical location, verifying credentials and permissions for entry and exit.
+ Provide customer service by assisting visitors, contractors, and employees with security-related inquiries and site-specific procedures.
+ Carry out security-related procedures and follow site-specific policies, including responding to alarms and emergencies as needed.
+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues according to established protocols.
+ Conduct regular and random patrols around the business premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and suspicious activity.
+ Document and report all security-related incidents, observations, and activities in accordance with Allied Universal and client requirements.
+ Collaborate with site personnel and emergency responders during incidents or drills to support a coordinated response.
**Minimum Requirements:**
+ At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
+ Access control or badge experience is preferred.
+ Customer service experience is preferred.
+ CPR certification is preferred.
+ A guard card or license is preferred.
+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
