Patient Care: Preparing patients for treatment, taking radiographs (X-rays and CT scans), and providing post-operative instructions.
Infection Control: Implementing and maintaining infection control protocols, sterilizing instruments, and ensuring a safe clinical environment.
Equipment and Supply Management: Maintaining dental equipment, keeping operatories stocked, and monitoring inventory levels to prevent low stock.
Patient Education: Instruct patients on proper oral hygiene practices and post-operative care. Competencies
- Expert in X-rays, CBCT/panoramic imaging, and patient charting.
- Demonstrates expert-level knowledge and skills to perform the duties of the position effectively.
- Detail-oriented.
- Provides a general knowledge base necessary to perform job duties effectively.

5 years minimum of dental surgery experience
Completion of an accredited dental assisting program
Current BLS
X-Ray Certification
Written letter of recommendation, including current contact information
