Assembler

The role involves reading technical drawings and assembling equipment such as power distribution units, static transfer switches, energy storage systems, and other integrated products.

Responsibilities

• Assemble complete products or subassemblies to specifications by understanding and following electrical schematics, CAD models, part drawings, and bills of material.
• Interpret standard documentation and techniques and apply to custom applications based on existing products.
• Create point-to-point control and power wiring based on schematics, which could include crimping, soldering, and the creation of wiring harnesses.
• Electrically assemble new variants of existing products, including minor mechanical assembly.
• Understand and apply best practices for electro-static discharge handling requirements where needed.
• Inspect parts for flaws and imperfections.
• Identify any missing parts from assemblies.

• Assembly experience
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting schematics and blueprints
• Skilled in soldering and crimping
• Experience with hand and power tools
• Ability to use tape measures accurately

• Mechanical or electro-mechanical diploma from a Community College or equivalent is an asset
• Knowledgeable in the use of common hand tools and portable power tools such as drills and impact drivers

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lawrenceville, GA.

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr.
