Responsibilities:

• Support students academically, behaviorally, and socially in classroom environments

• Aid students with daily routines, transitions, and engagement in classroom activities
• Implement behavior support plans and follow Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) when applicable
• Assist with mobility, supervision, and personal care needs
• Foster a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning atmosphere

Qualifications and Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum age of 18 years
• Completion of TB test as per school district requirements
• Ability to stand, walk, and assist with lifting when necessary
• Current clearances or willingness to obtain them prior to starting

Preferred Experience:

• Background working in schools, special education, behavioral health, or child care
• Experience supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• Training in CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention), PMT (Positive Management Techniques), or RBT (Registered Behavior Technician) is advantageous but not required
• Reliable, patient, and collaborative team player
