DESCRIPTION:

For our global client, we ahve an immediate need for a Full Stack Software Developer for their locations either at Richmond or Mclean, VA.

As a a Full Stack Software Developer, you Will:

-Work with product owners to understand desired application capabilities and testing scenarios across multiple lines of business

-Work within and across agile teams to scope out, design, develop, test, implement, and support technical solutions across a full stack of development tools and technologies

-Lead the craftsmanship, availability, resilience, and scalability of your solutions

-Continually improve software engineering practices

-Bring a passion to stay on top of tech trends, experiment and learn new technologies, participate in internal and external technology communities, and mentor other members of the engineering community

-Encourage innovation, implementation of cutting edge technologies, inclusion, outside of the box thinking, team work, self-organization, and diversity.

Basic Qualifications:

-Bachelor’s degree or military experience

-At least 3 years of full stack development experience in Java

-At least 3 years of user experience testing

-At least 3 years of experience in CI/CD deployment

-At least 3 years of experience in configuration management

-At least 1 year of experience with cloud services

Preferred Qualifications:

-Master’s degree in Computer Science

-3+ years of experience in Agile

-1+ years of experience with Service Oriented Architectures

-1+ years of experience with RDBMS and MapReduce

-Implementation of authentication and authorization solutions

-Familiar with JIRA, Confluence, Slack, and other collaboration and tracking tools

-Mobile deployment knowledge

-Familiarity with code versioning in GitHub
