What We're Looking For:

We are seeking a Designer to join our team! In this role, you will support engineering and/or architectural design efforts by developing technical drawings and visual documentation using CAD software and other tools. You will collaborate with project managers and senior designers to contribute to the successful delivery of design packages for a variety of projects.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed drawings, layouts, and schematics based on specifications, calculations, and mark-ups from engineers or architects
• Utilize AutoCAD, MicroStation, Civil 3D, Revit, or other software to produce 2D and 3D design documents
• Assist in developing project documentation including plans, sections, and details
• Perform basic calculations and quantity take-offs under supervision
• Maintain compliance with company CAD standards and project-specific guidelines
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary project teams in a fast-paced environment
• Participate in field investigations or site visits as needed
• Continuously develop technical skills through mentorship and training opportunities

Education & Experience Qualifications:

• Associate degree in Drafting, Design Technology, or a related field
• 0-2 years of experience in design or drafting for engineering, architecture, or construction
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation, or Revit
• Basic understanding of design principles and construction practices
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
