Job Summary
The Finance Manager – Business Development serves as a strategic partner to the Business Development team, leading financial analysis, modeling, and reporting for RFPs and negotiations. This individual contributor role ensures alignment between financial planning, forecasts, and post-award performance, while providing insights to leadership to guide decision-making and commercial strategy.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and improve financial benchmarks, insights, and analytics for Business Development
Own pro forma, executive summaries, and financial deliverables for RFPs
Advise leadership on deal structure, profitability, and financial risks
Contribute to short-term and long-term financial strategies across Finance and Business Development
Track and analyze pipeline metrics, retention, capex, and key financial indicators
Prepare and present financial reporting to support decision-making
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely financial deliverables
Partner with Finance and Accounting for post-RFP performance analysis and KPI development
Promote best practices, process improvements, and cross-functional collaboration
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Finance or related field
5+ years of finance experience, such as Finance Manager or Senior Financial Analyst
Strong business acumen and demonstrated leadership through influence
Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities
Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Physical Requirements
Ability to sit, stand, and/or walk for extended periods
Occasional lifting up to 15 lbs
