An opportunity is available for an experienced Registered Nurse with Emergency Room expertise to support a busy Emergency Department float pool in a high-acuity trauma setting. Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure with Emergency Room experience
• Minimum of 2 years work experience in a Level 1 trauma center or similarly sized facility
• Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC) certifications required
• Strong clinical skills including assessment, intervention, and care planning for ED patients
• Ability to work efficiently in a very busy ED environment with excellent communication skills
• Resume with no employment gaps, completed ED skills checklist, and solid ED references

Responsibilities:

• Primarily staff the Emergency Department focusing on boarder patients across medical/surgical, stepdown, and ICU settings
• Provide direct patient care in fast-paced trauma and emergency scenarios
• Assist acute care units by floating when necessary to ensure consistent care delivery
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
• Maintain compliance with hospital protocols and healthcare standards
