Role Description

Position: Grocery Meat Manager
Location: Powder Springs, GA (On-site, Full-time)

About the Role:
TWIGS Farmers Market is seeking a dedicated and experienced Grocery Meat Manager to lead our meat department. In this role, you’ll be responsible for overseeing daily operations, including inventory control, product quality and presentation, butchery, and seafood handling.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain inventory levels to ensure product availability and freshness

• Oversee meat and seafood preparation, ensuring top-quality presentation

• Deliver exceptional customer service and support sales and promotional initiatives

• Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations

• Train, supervise, and motivate department staff

• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work environment

Qualifications

• Experience in Inventory Control and Sales
• Proficiency in Butchery and Seafood handling
• Strong Customer Service skills
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations in a meat department
• Ability to train and supervise team members
• Good organizational skills
• Previous experience in a similar role is a plus
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 5 years working in the meat department
• certifications in meat handling, cutting, and organizing
