General Summary
West Paces Ace Hardware has a gift department that is truly unique! The Gift Shop Merchandising Specialist role is ideal for a passionate individual who is process oriented, good with design, and enjoys helping customers locate the perfect décor need or gift. Previous gift shop, boutique, or upscale retail experience required. Must be able to work AT LEAST two weekend days a month.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities Include the Following:
- Stock incoming deliveries according to agreed upon design standards
- Remerchandise products and sections to create a clean and appealing shopping experience
- Lead daily cleaning, front facing, and straightening of product
- Checkout transactions using Point of Sale technology
- Possess strong product knowledge and knowledge of store layout and location of products.
- Participate in store meetings
- Be professional in appearance and actions
- Perform all other duties as assigned
