Interim CFO
Tatum is seeking an operationally-focused Interim CFO for an industrial manufacturer. This is a critical hands-on leadership role requiring a candidate who can maintain daily financial discipline. The ideal candidate thrives in a high-velocity environment characterized by specialized manufacturing and a significant seasonal service model. location: Kennesaw, Georgia

- Daily Financial Operations: Take full ownership of the daily accounting function, ensuring accuracy and integrity across the general ledger and operational spend.
- High-Velocity Close: Lead and execute month-end close process, providing timely and accurate financial reporting to corporate leadership.
- Strategic Partnership: Serve as the financial "co-pilot" to the VP, providing data-driven insights to drive Sales, Operating Profit, and Free Cash Flow.
- Planning & Analysis: Manage the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and lead the monthly cadence of pulse forecasting and variance analysis.
- Compliance & Controls: Ensure strict adherence to GAAP and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) requirements, maintaining a robust internal control environment.
- Working Capital Management: Drive free cash flow conversion through meticulous management of inventory and accounts receivable.
qualifications:
- Experience: 10+ years of financial leadership in a manufacturing or service organization.
- Public Company Background: Deep expertise in US GAAP and SOX compliance is required.
- Technical Skills: Advanced ERP experience and expert-level Microsoft Excel.
- Education: BS in Accounting or Finance; CPA or MBA preferred.
- Local: Ability to work 100% on-site in the Kennesaw, GA area.
