About the team and role
Solutions Engineering Team, GBG Americas
At GBG Americas, our Solutions Engineering team is a high-impact, technically adept group that plays a strategic role in driving business growth. This team serves as a critical bridge between our advanced identity, fraud, and verification technologies and the evolving needs of our customers.
Our Solutions Engineers are trusted advisors, partnering closely with Sales to design and deliver tailored solutions that solve real-world challenges. With deep technical expertise and a strong understanding of the sales cycle, they ensure that GBG’s offerings are positioned effectively and implemented seamlessly.
Key Highlights:
- Collaborate cross-functionally to align technical capabilities with client objectives.
- Support the full sales lifecycle with compelling solution design, demos, and proof-of-concepts.
- Contribute to strategic growth by translating complex requirements into scalable solutions.
Work Structure:
This role is open to remote candidates, with a strong preference for a hybrid work model based in Atlanta, GA.
The Role
We’re looking for a Senior Sales Solution Engineer to support sales teams by providing business insights, technical expertise, solution demonstrations, and tailored product presentations in the realm of identity, fraud and verification services. This role will work closely with sales, product, and technical teams to ensure client requirements are accurately met.
What you will do
- Provide in-depth technical presentations and demonstrations of our GBG solutions.
- Assist in the technical aspects of bids and proposals.
- Address and resolve client concerns regarding product integration and customization.
- Stay abreast of product updates and industry trends to advise and inform the sales team and clients effectively.
- Learn and develop a deep understanding of GBG solutions.
- Attend all company sponsored training sessions and apply learned techniques and new products to sales opportunities.
Requirements
Skills we are looking for
- Market and Industry Knowledge- Extensive knowledge of the identity, fraud and risk markets and corresponding solutions and use cases
- Technical Expertise- Strong background in SaaS platforms, particularly in identity, fraud, and verification sectors.
- Problem-Solving- Aptitude for identifying client needs and crafting custom solutions.
- Collaborative Spirit- Team player with the ability to work across different departments to achieve sales and client satisfaction goals.
- Strong computer and web proficiency including experience with Word, Excel and Salesforce.com or other web-based sales automation tools.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to take initiative and work independently as well as in a fast-paced team environment.
- Highly motivated drive for success.
