Job Summary

W e are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Angular Developer with strong proficiency in front-end state management (NgRx and Signal Store) and solid experience in Java RESTful API development. This contractor will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining complex applications and services that support critical operational systems.

Job Description

• Design, develop, unit test, and deploy new features and functionality for a robust web application using Angular, TypeScript, NgRx, and Signal Store.
• Build, test, and deploy RESTful APIs using Java.
• Integrate Angular front-end components with Java backend services.
• Work with Oracle Database to retrieve, save, display, and manage data.
• Write and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, views, materialized views, and database triggers.
• Address authentication, authorization, and application security requirements.
• Ensure strong application performance across delivered functionality.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and implement enhancements.
• Identify and address application performance bottlenecks, defects, and architectural improvements.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while following best practices and coding standards.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to maintaining high code quality.
• Stay current with industry trends, updating development practices and methodologies where beneficial.
• Work closely with QA teams to ensure thorough testing and quality assurance.
• Contribute to technical documentation, including system architecture and operational procedures.

Job Skills Required

• 8+ years of web application development experience, including 3+ years of full-stack development.
• 5+ years of hands-on Angular development experience (Angular 12+ preferred).
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
• 3+ years of experience with NgRx (Store, Effects, Selectors) and strong experience using Signal Store/Signals.
• 2+ years of hands-on backend development with Java (v8+), including building RESTful services (JAX-RS/Jersey).
• Strong understanding of web application architecture, design patterns, and best practices.
• Experience working with Oracle databases and proficiency in PL/SQL.
• Experience with version control systems such as Git.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and strong communication abilities.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Pay Rate

• $68.50 - $78.50 per hour (Compensation will be offered within this posted range based on experience, skills, and market factors)

Additional Requirements

• Knowledge of cloud platforms and cloud-based services is preferred
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices is preferred
• Familiarity with Docker and containerization is preferred
• Experience with unit testing and end-to-end testing frameworks is preferred
• Understanding of security principles and best practices in web development is preferred
