Global IT Business Operations Manager
The Global IT Business Operations Manager is responsible for driving operational discipline, financial transparency, governance, and execution rigor across Global IT. This role acts as the operational engine of IT, ensuring alignment between strategy, budgets, vendors, service delivery, and business outcomes across regions.
As PAS continues to scale globally, this role will be critical in standardizing IT operating processes, strengthening vendor and financial governance, and enabling leadership with accurate insights for decision making. The position drives operational excellence, standardization, and continuous improvement while supporting business transformation initiatives, including cloud adoption, automation, and AI enablement.
Responsibilities: A DAY IN THE LIFE:
IT Operations & Governance
- Establish and manage IT operating rhythm (monthly/quarterly operations and quality reviews, dashboards, operational metrics/KPI and SLAs of all Service Areas
- Drive standardization of global IT processes, controls, and reporting across all regions
- Coordinate cross functional execution across IT infrastructure, applications, security, and business stakeholders
- Maintain operational documentation, runbooks, and governance artifacts
Financial & Budget Management
- Own and manage Global IT Infrastructure Opex/Capex budget, forecasting, and variance analysis (±10% accuracy target)
- Partner with Finance to ensure cost transparency, accrual accuracy, and budget
- Support cost optimization initiatives, including vendor spend optimization and cloud cost governance (FinOps)
- Drive cost optimization initiatives across labor, vendors, and technology platforms
- Build and track TCO models for infrastructure services
Vendor & MSP Operations Support
- Partner with Vendor Management Office (VMO) to support vendor performance, renewals, and escalations
- Coordinate vendor service reviews, QBRs, and executive readiness materials
- Ensure alignment between contracts, SLAs, financials, and operational outcomes
- Track vendor risks, issues, and remediation actions
Program & Delivery Enablement
- Support execution of global IT initiatives, migrations, and operational improvements
- Track milestones, risks, dependencies, and status across multiple workstreams
- Ensure consistent reporting and escalation for leadership
- Enable smooth coordination across regions, time zones, and functions
Reporting & Executive Communication
- Produce executive dashboards and insights covering operations, financials, risks, and delivery
- Translate complex operational data into clear leadership level narratives
- Support leadership meetings with structured materials and decision recommendations
MUST-HAVES:
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field
- 8–10+ years of experience in IT operations, IT business management, or technology program operations
- Proven experience managing and supporting global IT organizations and multi-regions IT environments
- Strong exposure to budgeting, forecasting, vendor management, and operational governance
- Experience working in MSP driven and multi vendor environments
- Strong analytical and financial management skills
- Excellent organizational, communication, and stakeholder management abilities
- Ability to operate at both strategic and execution levels
- Strong attention to detail with an outcome oriented mindset
- Experience working in global, multi region IT environments
- ITSM and operational governance frameworks (ITIL preferred)
- Familiarity with tools such as ServiceNow, Power BI, Finance systems, O365 suite, collaboration platforms, AI tools such as Copilot and Claude, etc.
- Understanding of cloud and infrastructure operations is a strong plus
