Waldorf Astoria is looking for an Engineering Manager to join the Property Operations Team at this gorgeous Atlanta property!

Located in one of Atlanta's most prestigious neighborhoods, this 42-story tower has over 200 rooms (127 guest rooms plus residences ), over 10,000 square feet of meeting space, and 3 food and beverage outlets. This includes the 3-meal restaurant, bar, and in-room dining.

This position reports directly to the Director of Property Operations.

Salary Range: The annual salary range for this role is $60,000 - $75,000 plus full-time benefits and is based on applicable and specialized experience and location.

What will I be doing?

As an Engineering Manager, you would be responsible for managing the functionality and safety of the facility, including the physical building/s, mechanical equipment, electrical system/s, heating and cooling systems and life safety systems in accordance with local, state and federal laws and regulations. Specifically, this includes but is not limited to:

  • Assign work, supervise staff and verify and document the completion of all routine maintenance and repairs in the property maintenance management system.
  • Direct outside contractors, communicates with city officials and inspects quality of work by staff.
  • Respond and coordinate responses to guest calls and emergency situations.
  • Interview, train, supervise, counsel, schedule and evaluate staff.
