Sr Finance Operations Analyst

The Card Brand Fee team is part of GBS Finance that evaluates network invoice data for expense reduction opportunities.

What does a successful Sr Finance Operations Analyst do at Fiserv?

As a Sr. Finance Operations Analyst, you will work with GBS finance, accounting, network compliance, risk, and other operations teams to analyze, report, and control Fiserv GBS Card Brand Fee expenses. You will evaluate network invoice data with internal system counting. You will identify areas of opportunity to improve our billing controls and conduct root cause analysis. By facilitating research, tracking, and follow up for resolution of identified variances. Using your technical experience working with large and complex data sets, and product management experience. Expanding your knowledge of the Fiserv billing systems, network fee billing, and card processing.

What you will do:

• You will complete various network fee reviews, identifying variances and partnering Fiserv GBS Lines of Business for resolution.

• Participate and execute the activities related to the Card Brand Fee validation efforts for individual business segments or Regions within Fiserv.

• Identify differences for the assigned processes until completion.

• Analyze inspection data, conduct trends analysis, and identify root causes of trends

• Participate in monthly trend reporting, identifying, and explaining significant variances

• Track findings and provide weekly updates on the status of findings and resolution

• Maintain and enhance the standard operating procedures, fee management and tools, and changes to the underlying processes.

What you will have:

• Bachelors degree in finance, accounting or related experience

• 3 plus years of finance or accounting experience

• Strong excel skills essential for manipulation & interpretation of large sets of data (e.g., VLOOKUP, SUMIF, pivot tables).

• Strong communication, problem solving, and escalation skills

What would be great to have:

• Prior Card Processing experience
