E&I Maintenance Superintendent

We are seeking a professional like you to supervise the E&I Maintenance Team as they maintain the instrumentation and electrical equipment running the plant. Your experience in personnel management, maintenance techniques and E&I equipment will enable you to lead the team to meet safety, environmental, production and financial goals and targets.

In this role, you will lead the team in the performance of preventive and corrective maintenance. You will utilize and expand your troubleshooting abilities as you lead the team in solving more difficult or repetitive problems. Your expertise will aid in prioritizing capital investments to keep the plant operating at peak performance. You will also set priorities and assist in planning major plant turnarounds along with the Planner and Gatekeeper .

As a E&I Maintenance Superintendent, you create chemistry by...

• Training, developing and motivating team members in the performance of maintenance activities to support the plant, especially in the areas of safety, environmental compliance and burner management systems.
• Reviewing work backlog, participating in scheduling maintenance, verifying and auditing finished work quality and completeness, including documentation of work performance.
• Ensuring viable records are maintained of all work performed.
• By applying your prior work experience in a plant maintenance environment, you will identify opportunities for continuous improvement in the execution of maintenance plans.
• Being liaison to contractors who perform needed services over and above what the E&I team can provide. Develop and build relationships with these organizations.
• Providing feedback to team members on performance of their duties through informal discussions, periodic performance evaluations and administering discipline when appropriate.

If you...

• Hold 10 years of experience working with industrial power, control and instrumentation systems with 5 years of supervisory experience.
• Have a High School diploma with a Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Hold working knowledge of function and design of electrical power distribution, electronics, instrumentation and controls.
• Have experience in preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
• Hold the ability to work independently under broad goals and objectives with minimal guidance.
• Have strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Hold a working knowledge of PLC and DCS systems with networking knowledge a plus.
• Have demonstrated leadership skills with a focus on relationship building and strong interpersonal skills.
• Are proficient with SAP and MS Office suite with database knowledge a plus.
