As a Data Center Quality Inspector I, you provide superb quality control services for our clients by performing essential inspections of electrical equipment and systems, including switchgear and substations. Detailed knowledge of mechanical and instrumentation is critical to conduct inspections, interpret electrical drawings and specifications. You ensure the equipment and technicians around you comply with company and site safety requirements. Reporting daily about your findings, including time tracking and special inspection reports will be routine. You will approve and submit important documents such as Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) requests, team reports, and time tracking reports. You take pride in assuring that our clients receive safely installed and functional equipment every time. If you are analytical, detail-oriented, communicate effectively, and prioritize safety, this opportunity may be an excellent fit. Travel may be required.
Responsibilities
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications. Prepare written documentation such as daily narratives (work reports), special inspection reports, and daily time tracking.
- Perform inspections of switchgear, standby generators, protective relays, and other electrical distribution components.
- Submit LOTO requests, review and approve team reports, and time tracking.
- Ensure compliance with all company and site safety requirements.

- High school diploma or equivalent. Higher education degree preferred.
- Minimum of two years of experience inspecting, testing, commissioning, or operating electrical distribution systems. Commercial or naval nuclear experience is strongly desired.
- OSHA 10-hour Construction Safety training.
