Assistant School Leader - Montessori (Atlanta)

- Partner with School Leader on meeting enrollment objectives and established metrics for school performance by planning and executing student retention and enrollment activities.
- Collaborate with the School Leader to implement the Montessori program and nurture a culture that strives for excellence while valuing and recognizing the contributions of each team member.
- Ensure the school complies with all federal, state, and local regulations and licensing requirements.
- Support compliance with Georgia Department of Early Care and Learning (DECAL) licensing regulations and company policies
- Assist with documentation, monitoring, and daily practices to ensure the school consistently meets state licensing and safety standards
- Maintain ratios and distributions at all times, using creative and financially responsible means to ensure classrooms are properly staffed.
- Participate in the hiring and retention of highly qualified staff as measured by education and experience.
- Partner with School Leader to monitor employee performance through goal setting, feedback, and periodic evaluations. Provide recognition and/or take necessary disciplinary actions (including performance improvement plans) conducive to staff development and success.
- Other duties, as assigned.
Starting at: $40,000 to $45,000, depending on education and experience.
Experience and Education:
- An Associates degree in education preferred or equivalent experience.
- A willingness to learn Montessori essential principles to support the development of high-fidelity Montessori practices.
- Specific requirements set by minimum state standards and/or accreditation.
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in the field of education serving a student population and school community of comparable scope.
- Prior supervisory experience preferred.
- Experience in exceptional customer service, namely to prospective and current families through warm communication, timely follow-up, and problem resolution
- Ability to build strong, trusting relationships with families to support enrollment, retention, and overall satisfaction
- Experience with revenue generation, budgets and financial accountability is a plus.
- Proficiency with technology and software applications including current version of MS Office.
