Accountant

Cennox is currently looking for an Accountant to join our team in Alpharetta, GA . This full-time position offers the chance to become part of a rapidly growing company.

Position Summary:
The Accountant will bring additional advanced knowledge and ability to our skilled accounting staff. Cennox is an international company, and applicants must be familiar with accounting across multiple entities. This individual will be a self-starter, proficient in multi-tasking to assist in financial operations. They will have a strong accounting background with a minimum of two years’ experience in AP/AR, month end reconciliations, and similar functions or have a proven academic background in finance. Must be a team player who works well in a fast-paced environment.

• Perform general accounting operations by controlling and verifying financial transactions.
• Reconcile account balances and bank statements, maintain general ledger, and prepare month-end close procedures.
• Verify, allocate, post, and reconcile accounts payable and receivable.
• Produce error-free accounting reports and present results.
• Analyze financial information and summarize financial status.
• Prepare financial statements and produce budget according to schedule.
• Perform other duties as assigned

• Minimum of two years’ accounting related experience required and/or Four-year degree in accounting or related field required.
• Strong Excel and analytical skills.
• Oracle Cloud/Microsoft Dynamics NAV/Great Plains experience a plus.
• Must possess strong oral and written communication skills.
• Must be a self-starter and team player skilled in multi-tasking.

• Vision correctable to 20/20
• Finger dexterity for keyboarding and computer usage
• Ability to sit and stay focused for extended periods of time.
