As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol in Atlanta, GA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and communicate professionally with visitors, employees, and public officials. You will support a welcoming environment while responding to routine concerns and providing exceptional customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies at government facilities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access to designated areas, verify credentials as directed, and document visitor activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear and accurate reports of patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least one year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• CPR and First Aid are preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
