Maintenance Senior Technician

1. Job Summary:

Maintenance Senior Technician efficiently performs maintenance tasks on equipment and facilities to ensure stable operation of production machinery and utilities based on the practical experiences and career background. Through these activities, strives to maintain and improve safety, working environment, and product quality within the company premises, while contributing to productivity improvements. In addition, operates and controls the wastewater treatment system.
The role requires not only the prompt restoration of malfunctioning or failed equipment but also routine and scheduled inspections, preventive maintenance tasks, accurate record keeping, and timely reporting.

2. Job Responsibilities:
The core, essential duties and responsibilities of this position include, without limitation, the following. Other duties - essential or otherwise - may be assigned from time to time at the Companys discretion:

(1) Plan, execute, monitor, and record preventative, scheduled, and emergency maintenance activities, supervised by Maintenance Manager or Maintenance Assistant Manager. [Essential work]
(2) Ensure quality, safety, environmental compliance, and efficiency in maintenance operations.
(3) Design, fabricate, assemble, operate, and test systems and equipment to ensure quality and reliability. Assist in installation and validation of new equipment.
(4) Respond to equipment failures and implement corrective actions under supervision. [Essential work]
(5) Support supervision to coordinate with vendors for repairs, construction work, and other activities related to maintaining facilities and equipment. [Essential work]
(6) Create and maintain spare parts lists to ensure continuous production line operation, including implementing annual inventory checks of spare parts. [Essential work]
(7) Collect and report maintenance data to supervisor for the improvement opportunities.
(8) Train maintenance technicians and staff.
(9) Operate and maintain wastewater treatment equipment to comply with local environmental regulations. [Essential work]
(10) Support to maintain security systems (e.g., security camera systems, access control) with vendors.
(11) Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local regulations related to safety, environment, and operations.
(12) Monitor and maintain the landscape and external appearance of the facility.
(13) Promote compliance with safety, health, and environmental standards. [Essential work]
(14) Record ISO-related documents, including procedures, records, audit findings, and corrective actions, updating SOPs promptly according to current situations under supervision.
(15) Identify opportunities for process improvement in terms of ISO 9001 standards.
(16) Promote a culture of continuous improvement and quality assurance within the maintenance team.

3. Required Education and Experience
Minimum High School Diploma/GED required
OSHA safety certification is required
Expertise and plenty of experience in maintenance such as mechanic, electrical 3+ years

4. Preferred Education and Experience
EPA certification is preferred
HAZCOM certification is preferred
NFPA 70E certification is preferred
ETA / ISCET certification is preferred

5. Required Skills and Competencies:
To perform the job successfully, the following competencies will be required:

(1) Ability to operate hand and power tools and Multimeter with safety equipment
(2) Ability to interpret blueprints, engineering diagrams, sketches and plans necessary to identify and define work assignments, standards, tools, material and equipment
(3) Ability to read and create circuit diagrams
(4) Has knowledge and experience in PLC control
(5) Excellent verbal/written communication skills
(6) Microsoft Excel: Logging maintenance data, creating checklists
(7) Microsoft Word: Writing reports or documentation
(8) Outlook: Email communication and scheduling
(9) Highly disciplined, problem-finder and problem-solver, logical thinking, diagnostic abilities, troubleshooting team player with a work ethic
(10) Attention to detail and safety awareness
(11) Reliability and punctuality

7. Certificates, License, Registration: OSHA 10 course certified
8. Travel Requirements: occasionally 5%

Comfortable working at heights (e.g., on ladders or lifts)
Ability to lift and carry products and/or equipment of up to 50 lb
Access all areas within a site which could include heights of 30 feet, confined spaces, climbing ladders and stairs
Good physical condition and stamina
