Goldstein Dental Center is seeking a Part-Time Dental Assistant to join our well-established Sandy Springs office, 3 days/week.

Conveniently located at 4320 Roswell RD NE in Sandy Springs. We proudly serve patients throughout northeast metro Atlanta, including Buckhead, Brookhaven, Sandy Springs, Dunwoody, and NE Atlanta.

The ideal candidate has minimum of 5 years of experience to assist our prosthodontist and general dentist. Must have a great smile and outgoing personality!

Part-Time Schedule:

• Mondays 7:45am – 4:00pm
• Tuesdays and Wednesdays 7:45am – 5:00pm
• No Weekends

Compensation: hourly pay range of $25-30 depending on experience

Job duties may include but are not limited to-

• Greets patients in waiting area and escorts patients to the operatory.
• Assists the dentist in the administration of treatment at the chair side as required or directed by the dentist.
• Promotes an atmosphere supportive of good dental and general health by demonstrating good oral hygiene, questioning patients to ascertain home care status, instructing patients in techniques of flossing and brushing in accordance with protocol.
• Maintain a sterile and neat working environment according to current infection control procedures.
• Review the health history, make chart entries under the direction of the dentist and assure completion of forms and signatures.
• Assume the responsibility associated with any duties that may be delegated by the dentist.
• Familiarize the patient with the aspects of their dental visit and provide support and compassion to that patient when it is needed.
• Stock operatories and maintain clinical supply inventory.
• Review daily schedule to set up appropriate trays and instruments.
• Take digital radiographs.
• Follow practice protocols: quality assurance, biohazards, infection control, referral, emergency medicine, implants, perio program and emergency treatment.
• Demonstrate complete knowledge and usage of dental terminology, dental instruments, tray setups and instrument sharpening.
