Practice Location: Midtown
Manage the daily activities for this OB/GYN medical practice. This position is responsible for billing, for the financial performance of the revenue cycle, directing and coordinating administrative services and establishing workflow standards to improve efficiency and effectiveness in the office while supervising medical, nursing and clerical staff to ensure quality patient care.
JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Supervision of patient scheduling, registration, financial counseling, medical records, billing and collection, data entry and processing, and cash posting
- Promoting excellent customer service by all levels of the staff
- Develop, implement, and maintain office policies and procedures
- Interview, hire, and train a productive medical office team and conduct performance reviews
- Ensures regulatory compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, labor laws, and other federal, state, and local regulations.
- Coordinates staff meetings for administrative and clinical staff
- Coordinates logistics for internal and external meetings and conferences
- Assists in recruiting clinicians
- Act as liaison to outside reps and vendors
- Marketing and management of online presence for the practice
- Perform any special assignments or tasks as needed
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Management experience, preferably in the healthcare sector (eClinicalWorks experience preferred) (OB/GYN experience preferred)
- Strong computer literacy
- Solid understanding of finance management
SKILLS:
- Strong Leadership skills
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Must possess the ability to make decisions and problem solve
