IHOP Server - Dalton

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Present menus, explain specials, and answer any questions about food and beverages.
- Take accurate orders from guests using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
- Ensure timely and efficient service of food and drinks to tables.
- Monitor guest satisfaction and address any concerns promptly.
- Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to fulfill orders and create a seamless dining experience.
- Process payments and handle cash transactions accurately.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including tables, utensils, and drink stations.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations, including proper food handling and sanitation practices.
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions to enhance service skills and product knowledge.
QUALIFICATIONS FOR A SERVER
- Previous experience as a server in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred, but not required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- A positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
- Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Ability to represent our company in a professional manner
