The Multi-Craft Technician is a part of the team of skilled and general maintenance support technicians responsible for performing the full range of campus-wide operational maintenance and troubleshooting of systems. The position provides support for projects involving electrical and building internal wiring, mechanical, plumbing, carpentry, and painting. Responsibilities
Provides support for projects involving HVAC, plumbing, painting, masonry, carpentry, cabinetry, drywall installation and repair, and electrical repair
Responsible for the installation and repair of suspended ceilings
Documents and communicates actions and findings of work orders or projects
May oversee/escort 3rd party vendors
Estimates quantity of materials needed for each project
Operates equipment such as hand tools, shop equipment, areal man lift, fork lift, and backhoes
Performs other duties as assigned Required Qualifications
High School or GED
3 years building maintenance/multi-trade experience Preferred Qualifications
5+ years building maintenance/multi-trade experience Proposed Salary
42,100 - 50,500 Salary offer will be dependent on candidate's experience and qualifications, internal equity considerations, budget availability, and salary administration guidelines. Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
Demonstrated understanding of construction industry best practices
Demonstrated ability to read blueprints and engineered drawings
Demonstrated ability to read and understand schematic diagrams
Demonstrated ability to comprehend and document using computer-based Work Order System
Irregular/early morning schedule outside of normal business hours may be required to achieve project completion and will be based on project load USG Core Values
