Event Manager
Salary: $23K- $60K per year
Summary:
The Event Manager plays a pivotal role in the Sales & Marketing department by planning, executing, and evaluating high-impact marketing events that drive brand awareness, lead generation, and customer engagement. This position is responsible for managing all aspects of event lifecycle—from concept development and vendor coordination to on-site execution and post-event analysis—ensuring seamless delivery aligned with strategic business goals. The ideal candidate will possess a dynamic blend of organizational prowess, creative thinking, and data-driven decision-making to deliver memorable experiences that enhance customer relationships and contribute directly to revenue growth. As a key liaison between marketing, sales, and external partners, the Event Manager ensures brand consistency, operational efficiency, and measurable ROI across all events.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive event strategies aligned with marketing and sales objectives.
- Manage end-to-end event planning, including venue selection, budgeting, scheduling, logistics, and risk assessment.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams (sales, marketing, design, IT) to ensure cohesive event execution.
- Secure and manage relationships with vendors, sponsors, and third-party service providers.
- Create compelling event content, including invitations, presentations, digital assets, and promotional materials.
- Oversee on-site event management, including staffing, setup, registration, and real-time issue resolution.
- Utilize event management software and CRM tools to track leads, registrations, and attendee engagement.
- Conduct post-event evaluations, including performance analysis, feedback collection, and ROI reporting.
- Identify opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement in event formats and technologies.
- Maintain compliance with brand guidelines, safety regulations, and data privacy standards.
Requirements
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in event management, marketing coordination, or a similar role.
- Proven track record of managing successful events, including trade shows, product launches, and client seminars.
- Strong project management skills with proficiency in tools such as Asana, Trello, or Microsoft Project.
- Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficiency in CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce) and event management software (e.g., Eventbrite, Cvent).
- Creative mindset with attention to detail and a customer-centric approach.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to travel for on-site event support as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with virtual or hybrid event platforms (e.g., Zoom, Webex, Hopin).
- Knowledge of marketing analytics and lead tracking methodologies.
- Familiarity with social media promotion and digital campaign integration.
