Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in medical-surgical, telemetry, orthopedics, and other hospital units
• Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions and treatment responses
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and blood transfusions as prescribed
• Assist with diagnostic tests, procedures, and post-operative care
• Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Provide patient and family education on disease management, discharge planning, and self-care
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, safety protocols, and infection control measures
• Utilize electronic medical records (EMR) to document patient care accurately

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in applicable state(s)
• Minimum 1-2 years of hospital nursing experience
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications required
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
• Ability to adapt to various hospital units and patient care settings
• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) preferred
