Legacy Heights Academy is hiring a Full-Time Middle School Teacher (Grades 6–8) for July 2026. We are seeking a Georgia-certified educator who can maintain strong classroom structure, deliver rigorous instruction, and support students’ academic and social-emotional growth.
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
Start Date: August 2026
Work Location: In-person, Augusta, GA
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver standards-aligned instruction for Grades 6–8 (subject/grade placement based on school needs)
- Establish clear classroom expectations, routines, and positive behavior supports based on Christian principles
- Differentiate instruction and provide small-group/individual support as needed
- Use assessments to monitor progress and adjust instruction
- Communicate consistently with families and school leadership
- Maintain accurate records and required documentation
- Collaborate with colleagues to support student success and school culture
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Education
- Valid Georgia Teaching Certification
- Strong classroom management and instructional planning skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Middle school teaching experience (Grades 6–8)
- Strength in one or more core areas (ELA, Math, Science, Social Studies)
Compensation
- Hourly pay, based on experience and qualifications
