• Case Mix: General critical care/ICU.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Licenses: Valid national and Georgia state licensure required.
• Board: For NPs, Acute Care certification required.
• DEA: Not specified, assumed required for prescriptive authority.
• Certifications: National certification as ACNP or PA.
• Experience: Minimum 1–2 years as an APP in an ICU setting.
• Other Qualifications: Proficiency with ICU procedures; case logs for credentialing.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage critically ill patients in a high-acuity ICU setting.
• Collaborate with attending physicians on care planning and updates.
• Conduct patient assessments and implement interventions.
• Order entry and documentation in Cerner EMR.
• Interpret diagnostic tests and communicate findings.
• Participate in multi-disciplinary ICU rounds each shift.
• Perform central and arterial line insertions per credentialing requirements.
