Morning Dispatcher / Customer Service Representative
City Express, Inc. – Marietta, GA
City Express, Inc., a growing transportation and logistics company serving healthcare, commercial, and time-critical delivery clients throughout Georgia, is seeking a dependable and organized Morning Dispatcher to join our team.
Schedule:
Monday – Friday
7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Compensation:
$16.50/hour (entry level, no dispatch experience required)
Up to $18.00/hour (for candidates with relevant dispatch or logistics experience)
Responsibilities:
Coordinate and dispatch drivers for scheduled and on-demand deliveries
Communicate with customers regarding delivery status and service requests
Monitor routes and ensure timely completion of deliveries
Enter and update delivery information in dispatch software
Resolve delivery issues and provide excellent customer service
Communicate effectively with drivers, customers, and management
Assist with administrative and operational tasks as needed
Qualifications:
Strong communication and customer service skills
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, email, data entry)
Dispatch, logistics, transportation, or customer service experience preferred but not required
Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
Reliable transportation and punctual attendance
