As a **Security Officer - Tech Sector Patrol** in **Alpharetta, GA** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents while you provide exceptional customer service and clear communication. **What You'll Do:**
+ Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner.
+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or potential issues.
+ Monitor the premises for unusual activity and report any observations according to established protocols.
+ Assist visitors, employees, and contractors with access and general inquiries while maintaining a professional presence.
+ Support Allied Universal management in maintaining a secure environment at the location by following all post orders and guidelines.
**Minimum Requirements:**
+ Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
+ Be at least 21 years of age.
+ Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
